Why We Charge $15 Access To The Photo Gallery.

There are 4 reasons why we have started to charge $15 for a lifetime membership access to the photo gallery of our site. Each reason is outlined below.

Cost - It now averages about 40 dollars a month to run this site.

Abuse - We are finding that many of these towns featured on our gallery are becoming the target of theft and trespassing. It is hoped that by charging access to the site, many of these people who use the site for treasure hunting will no longer have easy access to scouting out places to visit next.

Residents - As the site was getting so popular (Almost 600,000 visitors in 3 years), many residents of the these towns started to complain about all the visitors. Some towns are just getting to many people visiting.

Time - The time spent removing spam accounts, answering questions, making categories and just general maintenance has been approaching about 5 hours a week. Does not sound like a lot until you have done it for 3 years.
