I guess the title says it all....any suggestions for the best town to pick for a day trip? Any info would be awesome!

Sadly I cannot think of any close to WInnipeg. Almost all the good ones are in the very SW corner of the province. On the other hand, I have not spend too much time in the SE part of the province.

I got a tip on some places: Tolstoi, Gardenton, Ridgewood, Piney, Wood ridge and Wampum.

I guess I should go there myself one of these days!
